The annual culinary celebration made its way back to Brighton for the bank holiday weekend, treating visitors to glorious weather.
Those with appetites wandered between the numerous vendors selling tacos, frozen desserts and beverages served in tropical shells as they browsed the market stalls set up in Preston Park on Sunday.
Large crowds gathered on blankets in front of the main stage, soaking up the rays while enjoying al fresco meals and musical performances.
The event has featured an impressive lineup of artists throughout the weekend. The group Scouting for Girls took top billing on Saturday, with B*witched performing on Sunday, and Boyzlife scheduled to close out the three-day festivities today.
Attendees were treated to live cooking sessions in both the Chefs Theatre and Baking Theatre, featuring personalities from popular cooking competitions alongside well-known chefs from the region.
Ewan Waller, executive chef at Maré by Rafael Cagali, was among the culinary talent at the event. His restaurant recently became the first establishment in Brighton and Hove to earn a Michelin star in nearly half a century.
The drinks section offered sampling sessions and classes led by industry professionals.
Those with hearty appetites found plenty of options, with vendors serving up meat, pastry sandwiches, dipped fruit, poultry, grilled sandwiches, flatbread, desserts and numerous beverage stands. Vendors selling chilled cocktails drew considerable interest.
Entertainment extended beyond food, with axe throwing attractions and carnival rides available.
Families took advantage of an increased schedule of child-focused activities, including treasure hunts, games and hands-on experiences. A designated area welcomed canine companions. Youngsters also had the opportunity to participate in cooking classes designed specifically for children.
Foodies Festival has partnered with the national homelessness organization Crisis, as well as various charitable groups based in Brighton.
