A number of activities have been planned for May at Amberley Museum.

The popular annual Motorcycle Day will be held on May 4th, bringing together over 150 motorcycles for attendees to enjoy.

Visitors to Motorcycle Day will be able to take complimentary rides aboard the museum’s historic bus and railway carriages. Demonstrations by experienced volunteers will also be on display, presenting various period crafts and industrial heritage techniques.

Additional upcoming attractions feature vintage and classic automobiles from the Southern Classics Car Club scheduled for May 10th. The Home Front Weekend on May 16th and 17th will showcase military vehicles and artifacts from World War Two, with a section of the grounds transformed into a wartime encampment.

On May 24th, the museum will mark its connection to the 1985 James Bond production “A View to a Kill.”

Attendees can participate in guided excursions to the movie filming sites, listen to presentations from members of the Shaken Not Stirred Fan Club, and operate one of the trains that appeared in the film for photographic opportunities.

The museum advises guests to reserve tickets beforehand to ensure availability.

Complete event calendars, exhibitor information, and ticket purchases can be found on the Amberley Museum website.
