Restaurant applies to extend alcohol sales hours under new plans

An application has been made to vary alcohol sales.

Majid Kamel Benslimane has submitted a notice to Brighton and Hove City Council seeking to vary the premises licence of The Blue Man, located at 95 Gloucester Road.

The application proposes that the hours for the sale of alcohol be set from 10am to 11pm daily.

For New Year’s Eve, the applicant wishes to extend the sale of alcohol until 1am the following day.

There are no proposed changes to the opening hours on other days, nor to current licence conditions.

Representations regarding the proposed variation must be submitted by May 18.

They must be sent either by email to EHL.licensing@brighton-hove.gov.uk or by post to the Regulatory Services Manager, at Bartholomew House, Bartholomew Square, Brighton, BN1 1JP.

It is a criminal offence to make a false statement in connection with a licensing application.
