A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision.

Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Partridge Lane and Broad Lane close to Newdigate at approximately 6.55pm on July 4.

The incident was reported after a green military-style Royal Enfield motorcycle collided with a black BMW X6.

The rider, a 66-year-old male from Crawley, was conveyed to hospital with severe injuries.

Surrey Police are seeking anyone who witnessed the crash or observed either vehicle in the vicinity prior to the incident.

Those with information or relevant footage should contact officers referencing PR/45260079883 either through the online portal or by dialling 101.

Anonymous reports can also be submitted to Crimestoppers.
