A man had his vehicle and timepiece taken after being menaced by six individuals in Eastbourne, according to reports.

Officers are requesting assistance from the public following the incident on Collingwood Close, which occurred at approximately 3am on June 6.

Investigators were told that a dark-coloured car resembling a Vauxhall Corsa drew up beside the victim’s automobile.

The six occupants then got out of their vehicle and menaced the victim, taking his watch and car before departing.

Detectives think individuals captured on CCTV footage in the vicinity of Joy Bar on Bolton Road in Eastbourne may be linked to the offence.

Police wish to question these individuals as part of the active investigation.

Anyone who can identify the men, saw what happened, or possesses any pertinent information, including footage from phones or doorbell cameras, should reach out to Sussex Police.
