Brighton shoppers can experience an early festive celebration as a major garden centre chain opens its Christmas collections for preview.
The local Dobbies location is hosting a Christmas Preview Evening on Thursday, 15 October, giving customers the opportunity to explore seasonal merchandise ahead of the official launch.
The Brighton branch will extend its opening hours to 7pm for the occasion, enabling visitors to browse new product ranges and take advantage of exclusive in-store promotions.
Savings will be offered on a selection of artificial Christmas trees, string lights, and decorative baubles, with additional bargains available in the pet care section.
The event programme includes live planting demonstrations throughout the evening.
Visitors can also sample products from the food hall, restaurant, and coffee shop facilities.
The retailer has disclosed substantial inventory figures for the upcoming festive period.
The product lineup encompasses more than 18,000 artificial Christmas trees, alongside 50,000 Christmas crackers available in 12 distinct designs.
Some 100,000 packs of baubles and 138,000 packs of string lights form part of the seasonal offering, together with in excess of 500,000 individual decorative items.
Kirsty Rockey, the company’s head of brand, commented that shoppers have consistently anticipated the annual opening of the Christmas department.
She indicated that this year’s preview is shaping up to be among the most successful launches in the retailer’s history.
She expressed enthusiasm about greeting customers at the preview evening to formally kick off what was described as Dobbies’ Best Ever Christmas.
