Trading Post Coffee Roasters is preparing to establish its 12th Sussex outlet on Terminus Road in Eastbourne.
The centrally located café will provide more than 70 seats indoors, along with an open kitchen where coffee is roasted on site and an outdoor seating area.
Its East and West Sussex branches offer the company’s signature coffee blends, which are produced exclusively using beans certified by Rainforest Alliance and Soil Association Organic.
Customers will also be able to choose limited-edition single-origin coffees and seasonal beverages.
The Eastbourne branch will also feature a brunch menu containing plant-based and gluten-free dishes as well as options intended for children.
Ryan Deol, Trading Post’s head of wholesale, said the success of its Lewes, Worthing, Horsham and Chichester locations demonstrated the strength of the local coffee community and the brand’s increasing recognition outside Brighton and Hove.
He added that the transformation of nearby Victoria Place into a more sustainable, pedestrian-friendly area had made the site an appropriate choice for the company’s environmentally conscious approach.
The new branch would also bring Trading Post’s coffee and brunch offering closer to Eastbourne customers, some of whom already visit the Lewes and Brighton sites.
The Eastbourne branch is scheduled to open in December.
