A traffic collision has resulted in the A21 being closed in the vicinity north of Hastings.

Several bus services are being diverted around the incident location.

The AA Traffic Map indicates the highway is impassable in both directions along the stretch between A28 Westfield Lane and Bluemans Lane, situated just north of Hastings, as a result of the collision.

Stagecoach has confirmed that the 349 bus route has been impacted by this incident.

The company has stated that stops located between The Ridge and Marley Lane cannot be served for the duration of the situation.

A replacement vehicle is being organised to cover the 349 service, which will experience delays but is expected to arrive shortly. While the diversion is in place, stops between The Ridge and Marley Lane will not be accessible.

Requests for additional information have been submitted to Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
