New ‘singing sauna’ experience coming to Sussex

Published on

A new ‘singing sauna’ experience is coming to Sussex.

The community event, which blends group singing with sauna bathing, will take place at Widewater Sauna in Shoreham on May 16, at 10am.

It is the first of its kind at the sauna and is open to all, regardless of singing experience.

The event is being hosted by Mags Houston, a community singing leader and part of Singing Mamas, a grassroots movement of women committed to improving maternal wellbeing through singing.

In a description on its website, Widewater said: “Singing Sauna combines the deeply restorative benefits of sauna bathing with the simple, joyful power of singing together.

“This unique experience invites you to slow down, soften, and connect – with yourself and with others – through voice, warmth and shared presence.”
