The Petworth Park Antiques and Fine Art Fair will return for its twelfth year in the grounds of Petworth House this May.
Taking place from Friday May 8 to Sunday May 10, the three-day event looks to celebrate the diverse world of fine art and antiques, featuring some 60 dealers from around the UK.
The fair’s location, Petworth House, is renowned for its art collection, preserved under the stewardship of the National Trust for visitors’ enjoyment.
As a bonus, holders of antiques fair tickets are given free access to explore the Petworth House, its grounds and Pleasure Gardens over the duration of the fair.
National Trust members also receive free access to the fair on all three days.
The fair is set in a specifically built marquee that boasts views over the 700-acre deer park, landscaped by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.
Highlights this year include a rare work by 19th-century female cabinet maker Ann Lee Warner brought by Reindeer Antiques, priced at £21,000, a variety of Arts and Crafts period pieces from Breckland Antiques and Persian Kashan rugs from the Oriental Rug Shop.
Antiques roadshow expert, Richard Price, alongside Frodsham Clocks and Olde Time, will showcase clocks including a Mercer 8-day mantel chronometer, dating back to 1926, priced at £16,500.

Rich with historical significance, the fair also features peculiar items such as a marble Buddha from the 5th-6th century Northern Dynasties period, presented by W. Shanshan.
Paintings by distinguished artists will also be displayed by Freya Mitton, Sarah Colegrave and Blackbrook Gallery.
The fair is not only about antiques and fine art but is a complete experience.
Tickets can be bought in advance via Eventbrite for £10 each.
Tickets allow re-admission and include a programme.
Light refreshments will be available at the fair.
Parking will be free for visitors to the fair, and a courtesy bus will operate between the centre of Petworth and the marquee.
