A young motorsport competitor originating from Bolney in West Sussex is preparing to enter two high-profile racing series.
Eleven-year-old Frankie Race Watson began his racing career at age eight and is scheduled to participate in both the British FAB Racing Championship and the ESBK championship held in Spain.
The competitor participates in the MK70s and ESBK Pre-Moto 4 categories, transitioning from 12-inch wheel mini bikes used on karting tracks to 17-inch wheel motorcycles on Grand Prix circuits.
The aspiring racer came extremely close to securing the Mini GP50s title in 2024, finishing just four points behind the champion. He also joined Danny Webb’s GP Camp squad that same year.
During 2025, he raced in the Austrian Mini GP series where he achieved a sixth-place finish, in addition to competing in multiple FAB events in Britain where he earned numerous podium positions.
Beyond his driving abilities, Frankie is recognized for his encouraging demeanor within the racing community, consistently offering guidance to younger competitors and cooperating with media representatives.
He has also experimented with providing race commentary.
Balancing academic responsibilities with rigorous practice sessions, the youngster consistently challenges himself to reach higher standards.
His objectives for the current season involve capturing the MK70s title, maintaining strong performance in the ESBK championship, and further developing his physical conditioning, endurance, and racing technique.
Frankie will participate in seven rounds of the British FAB championship taking place throughout Britain, alongside seven rounds of the ESBK series conducted across Spain.
His competitive record encompasses a fifth-place result in the Mini GP 50’s championship during 2023, victory in the Junior Lord of Lydden event in the MK50’s category that same year, runner-up position in the 2024 Mini GP50s championship plus fourth place in the BMB 160’s, and establishing a fresh lap record at Rowrah on the Mini GP 70’s in 2025.
