Jake Bugg to bring Alamo album tour to Brighton and Bexhill on November 17

Jake Bugg’s forthcoming record ‘Alamo’ is scheduled for release on November 13, representing a significant milestone in the Nottingham musician’s career.

The collection comprises 11 compositions and stands as his seventh studio album, marking his inaugural release as an independent artist after departing from major labels.

Production duties were handled by the Grammy-winning partnership of Jimmy Hogarth and Steve McKewan.

The project is characterised as a return to the acoustic, blues-infused, rock and folk traditions that defined his earliest musical efforts.

A newly unveiled composition, ‘Day By Day’, offers insight into the album’s thematic direction.

The trackponders the notion of confronting obstacles and the significance of perseverance and resignation.

Prior to the full record’s arrival, a preview track titled ‘Never Can Tell’ has already garnered notable airplay across British and American stations, receiving rotation on BBC Radio 2, Virgin, Radio X and additional broadcasters.

An extensive series of 20 in-store appearances has been arranged throughout the United Kingdom.

Audiences attending these events can anticipate exclusive performances in compact retail environments, complemented by interactive question-and-answer segments and opportunities for album personalisation on selected dates.

The itinerary encompasses visits to two Sussex venues: the outlet in Brighton and Music’s Not Dead in Bexhill-On-Sea, both scheduled for November 17.

The artistic output is anticipated to reveal a more reflective dimension of Bugg’s musicianship, with the songwriter drawing upon lessons accumulated throughout his professional journey.

Enthusiasts await the next phase of his creative evolution as these southeastern performances approach.
