The Station pub reopens in Hove after refurbishment

Published on

The Station pub in Goldstone Villas, Hove has reopened to customers following a period of refurbishment.

The establishment, situated adjacent to Hove railway station, draws patronage from local residents and those travelling through the area.

The venue offers an extensive selection of food and beverages alongside comprehensive sports broadcasting.

General manager Theresa Babic expressed satisfaction at the reopening and highlighted the variety available to visitors.

The property benefits from generous natural illumination provided by expansive windows, with the recent works designed to maximise this feature.

The interior has been configured to offer a hospitable environment suitable for drop-in visits, pre or post-rail travel, informal dining, and special occasions.

The venue accommodates after-work gatherings, celebratory events, and social evenings with companions.

External enhancements encompass refreshed exterior surfaces, updated decorative elements, landscaping, and new furniture.

Internally, the layout has been reconfigured to establish a more welcoming atmosphere for diners, drinkers, and those seeking entertainment.

Improvements to the interior include replacement lighting, updated flooring, refreshed furnishings, and air conditioning to ensure comfort during warmer periods.

Washroom facilities have received modernisation.

The venue now includes two electronic dart installations, complementing the existing pool table and sports viewing options.

Coverage includes Sky Sports and TNT Sports broadcasts.

Babic noted that the redesigned games zone and electronic darts provide additional entertainment value.

Match days generate particularly lively atmospheres at the venue, which serves as a destination for pool, darts, and sports viewing when stadium attendance is not possible.

Ordering may be conducted at the bar or from seating through the Greene King application.

The platform also enables participation in the Greene King loyalty programme, menu browsing, and advance reservations for beverages, meals, sporting events, and seasonal celebrations.
