Jack Skipper has concluded principal photography on a standalone British comedy feature.
The independent production, provisionally titled Zak The Ripper, has been captured on location throughout Brighton, Newhaven, and neighbouring areas.
The stand-up performer appears alongside a ensemble featuring Sy Thomas, Tiff Stevenson, and Richard Herring, alongside other recognised names from the British comedy and television sectors.
Skipper has built a following through his observational style and digital content, touring live shows throughout the United Kingdom.
Addressing his involvement in the project, Skipper noted that the cast and crew delivered an excellent experience, and participation in the production proved thoroughly enjoyable.
He expressed anticipation for audience reception upon release.
Producer and director of photography Matt Cotton offered his assessment of the performer’s contribution to the feature.
Cotton described welcoming Skipper into the production as a genuine pleasure.
According to Cotton, the comedian’s distinctive comedic instincts and singular approach introduced elements of considerable value to the work.
The feature represents a joint undertaking between Warren Dudley, who serves as producer, writer, and director, alongside Cotton in his capacity as producer and director of photography.
The narrative centres on Zak Harris, whose circumstances take a dramatic turn when his inaugural romantic encounter concludes catastrophically, placing him at the centre of a criminal inquiry.
As additional fatalities emerge, Harris emerges as the principal person of interest.
Production has been underway throughout September across the Brighton and Newhaven localities, incorporating both established performers and emerging artists.
With principal photography approaching its conclusion, the project will transition into post-production phases ahead of a scheduled unveiling in summer 2027.
