A collection of television costumes and character creations will be displayed at Brighton Museum when Making the Masked Singer opens on October 24, 2026.
The exhibition is due to run until June 6, 2027, and has been installed by the Plunge Creations team.
The display will include 24 complete costumes and seven individual character heads drawn from seven seasons of the ITV programme.
Among the featured fan favourites are Hedgehog, portrayed by Jason Manford; Fox, portrayed by Denise van Outen; and Tree, portrayed by Teddy Sheringham.
The exhibition will also provide an insight into the production of the costumes, including the work of the Sussex-based makers responsible for turning creative concepts into television designs.
The process combines costume-making, sculpture, engineering, prop-making and specialist fabrication.
Each costume must be visually striking, wearable and designed to hide the identity of the celebrity wearing it, while remaining suitable for performance under the lighting conditions of a television studio.
The exhibition will explore the design and construction involved in producing the costumes and will give greater attention to the creative talent based in Sussex.
Newer characters included in the exhibition are Moth, Conkers and Giant Joel.
The individual heads on display will include Unicorn, Bush Baby and Fawn.
