Crawley Borough Council has given the green light to proposals for converting a vehicle display area into an aviation training facility.

The request submitted by TJ Aviation Ltd concerning the former Caterham Cars location within the Dialog industrial estate on Fleming Way in Crawley received approval from the planning committee on Tuesday (April 21).

Construction work has commenced, with the ground-floor office space already operational. The project involves constructing a plant building at the back of the property, featuring an exterior staircase, a mezzanine level on the first floor, and a larger roller shutter door. The site will provide parking spaces for 41 cars.
