In Stanmer Park, various parking areas, including Chalk Hill, Church Car Park, Lower Lodges (East & West) and Lower Lodges overflow, will also see changes.

The charge for one hour will increase from £1.30 to £1.50, two hours from £2 to £2.20, four hours from £3.10 to £3.50 and 11 hours from £6.10 to £6.80.

The Upper Lodges in Stanmer Park, which has a maximum stay of eight hours, will experience a similar adjustment.

However, the Pathway area of Stanmer Park will remain unchanged, with charges of £1.70 for one hour, £3.40 for two hours, £6.60 for four hours and £9.20 for 11 hours.

The council has updated these charges under Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

This follows the previous restrictions order for these parks, made in 2016 for East Brighton and Preston Park, 2020 for Stanmer Park and 2025 for Vale Park.
