Three day party planned as taproom unveils expansion

Published on

A popular taproom is expanding to offer more space, more beer and even more reasons to celebrate.

UnBarred Taproom in Brighton, located on Elder Place, will mark the occasion with a three-day event including £5 draught beers, Brighton Pier-inspired games and a DJ set.

The UnBarred Taproom Weekender will run from Friday, April 17, to Sunday, April 19.

Dan Harris, general manager at UnBarred, said: “We couldn’t be prouder of our taproom.

“The support from our community has been incredible and this celebration is really about saying thank you to everyone who has made it what it is today.

“We wanted to throw a proper party with great beers, music and atmosphere, whilst channelling our Brightonian roots and values.”

The expansion is possible thanks to the opening of UnBarred’s new production brewery in Worthing.

This move has freed up room at the Brighton site for further growth, while brewing operations continue in both locations.

The Friday event will feature a set from DJ Massive Arms starting at 4pm.

From 7pm, half-hourly raffles will take place, with every £5 pint earning a raffle ticket.

The top prize is a £100 bar tab.
