A refurbished retail unit is up for let, more than a year after the premises was damaged in a fire.

The unit, at 41 Broadwater Street West in Worthing, was previously occupied by tanning salon TanTastic.

There was a fire at the premises on October 21, 2024, which led to dozens of people being evacuated and the tanning shop offering a £5,000 reward for information.

Three men were later charged with conspiracy to commit arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered in October last year.

The unit has now been subject to a “substantial” refurbishment and is being marketed for rent by Worthing-based estate agents Justice and Co.

The property is described as being suitable for a range of commercial uses, including retail, office, and medical purposes.

Among the features is a brand new galley kitchen.
