We’ve heard from the scene that police are managing the situation.
Traffic can only flow in one direction at a time, which the police are coordinating, leading to significant tailbacks, especially going towards Washington from Storrington.

Sussex Police have said that no injuries were reported following the two-car collision.
The road has cleared and police confirmed that no injuries occurred.
