Sussex residents are being asked to provide feedback on law enforcement matters through the annual Safer in Sussex Survey.
Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne launched the initiative, which examines community feelings about safety, the convenience of accessing police resources, and perspectives on potential policing developments.
The questionnaire can be completed via a dedicated online portal.
Commissioner Bourne stated that community perspectives form the foundation of effective law enforcement.
The survey presents an opportunity for residents to express their views on personal safety levels, service accessibility and their vision for future policing arrangements.
Bourne indicated that each contribution will help shape local priorities and contribute to broader discussions about policing, particularly as the government evaluates significant alterations to the current county constabulary structure.
The commissioner expressed hope that residents would dedicate several minutes to participate.
Findings from the survey will inform operational priorities, support national conversations regarding law enforcement reform and assist in ensuring that Sussex Police maintains visibility, accessibility and effectiveness.
The questionnaire requires approximately three to five minutes to complete and will accept responses until November 30, 2026.
